Jungle Adventure

Last Christmas, my parents and I went to Sabah, Malaysia. We wanted to go swimming and enjoyed the sunshine and beaches.

We were excited to drive in the half way to the beach. Suddenly, the GPS Signal was lost. We all felt every annoyed and panic.

At that time, we came across at the crossroads. Then we selected either way to keep up our journey.

After an hour, we found we were lost in the forest terribly. The sun went down and the sky got darker. We heard some loud roaring noise. We noticed that a crowd of tigers hungrily surrounded and eyed on us!

Dad had a brilliant idea, he quickly threw some meat to distract them. Thus, we drove off in high speed.

At night, we were so enjoyed looking at the wonderful fireflies around our jeep. Later, I felt so tired and fell asleep.

In the morning, we had tasty cereal with banana chips for our breakfast. All of a sudden, many monkeys appeared, grabbing our food fiercely. We were very angry and felt rather hungry.

Dad drove at full speed wildly that we could not see where we were going. A minute later, the jeep got a hard braking. We wanted to open the door but it was stuck. We looked through the window and found we were in the swamp. However, the jeep was slowly going out of the swamp with the help of a friendly hippo. Then we could not miss a chance to take a photo with our angel --- the lovely hippo.

The sky became dark and we had to set up a tent. Unexpectedly, mum let out a scream, there were many boars looking for food on the field. For safety, we could not camp out on the land, so we need to move the tent on top of the jeep.

The next day, we saw many gigantic footsteps on the field. We were surprised and interested to follow them. We finally found a tall with a pair of big ears elephant. What a beautiful and awesome animal! At night, we saw many bats headed to our jeep, so we need to sleep inside.

On the fourth day, we wanted to cross a river but unluckily there was no any bridge over there. Not far away, some small crocodiles were so nice and friendly to carry us on their back across the river.

Accidentally, we noted that the GPS signal was resumed with unstable noise. All of us felt very thrilled and excited that we should soon be able leave the forest. However, I should never forget this journey --- to have a close look at the nature, to make new friends, and to be full of challenges and fun indeed.
